IndigOz was born from a simple idea:

that what we wear, use, and surround ourselves with should be kind to the earth, respectful of people, and beautiful in its honesty.

Every piece we curate is chosen not just for how it looks, but for how it is made — with care, with skill, and with intention.

IndigOz is founded by two sisters, Heena and Nishat, whose lives and hearts are shaped by two countries: India and Australia. Growing up in a culture rich in craft and tradition, they were surrounded by objects made slowly and thoughtfully — from hand-woven textiles and carved furniture to everyday kitchenware shaped by skilled hands. That upbringing created a deep appreciation for natural materials, originality, and the artisans who keep these traditions alive.

Years later, both sisters made Australia their home — Heena 16 years ago, Nishat 11 — each carrying the same quiet dream:
to share the beauty of Indian craftsmanship with a world that values conscious, modern living.

That dream began humbly at local markets around Sydney, where they listened, learned, and refined their vision. They studied Australian style, aesthetics, and sustainability expectations, and carefully connected them with Indian makers and designers who shared the same values — ethical production, quality materials, and timeless design.

Over time, what started as a passion grew into something clearer and stronger:
a desire to create a brand that bridges two cultures through craft, and offers pieces that feel meaningful, not mass-produced.

And so, IndigOz was born — a home for thoughtfully made clothing and jewellery that honour the hands behind them, the materials they come from, and the people who wear them.

When you choose IndigOz, you’re not just choosing something beautiful.

You’re choosing slow fashion, skilled artisans, and a more conscious way of living.
