Handcrafted 100% Indian Cotton-Mulmul, Shibori Dyed.
About Shibori Dye - the craft of hand dyeing a cloth (usually silk, hemp, or cotton) by folding, twisting, pleating or crumpling with a string, rubber bands or various tools, and dipping into a dye leaving the cloth with a beautiful pattern of shapes and forms. Shibori dyeing technique dates back to 8th century.
Our dresses with Shibori Dye are handcrafted in azo free dyes by skilful artisans who thoughtfully study the fabric and desired dress design to achieve perfect colours and patterns that last for years to come.
About Mulmul: made from pure cotton fibres specifically woven to create fabric so soft and lightweight that it was believed to be made of air and vapour. Mulmul corroborates the fact - you don’t need to feel uncomfortable to look beautiful, most adequately.
Our dresses made with Mulmul have a luscious look and feel because with a rich texture it also possesses the quality of absorbing dyes most effectively, providing a long life to the garment that is also easy to care for.
